Welcome to Enderby Toastmasters!

The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

The Enderby Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Enderby & District Museum, 903 George Street. We meet from mid-September through May; please check the calendar for meeting dates. Members come from all walks of life, and guests and new members are always welcome.

For more information about the Enderby Toastmasters club, send an email to enderbytoastmasters@hotmail.com or phone  Naomi or Heather Fournier at 250-838-0235.

What is Toastmasters?

Toastmasters International is an nonprofit educational organization with clubs located worldwide.

The Toastmasters educational program teaches both communication and leadership skills. The communication track is for members who would like to focus on their communication skills, while the leadership track is for members who would like to practice their leadership skills. The curriculum is self-paced and you can participate in the educational tracks separately or simultaneously. The best thing about the Toastmasters educational program is that you can focus on your areas of interest and build your speaking and leadership skills with time-tested methods.

Who can benefit from Toastmasters?

Everyone! Whether you are a business executive or a common labourer, or whether you operate your own business or work for someone else, you can benefit from Toastmasters. It doesn't matter if you are a stay-at-home mom, a college student, retired, employed full-time or part-time, or even unemployed, you can still benefit from the Toastmasters educational program.

With Toastmasters you can learn to communicate more effectively and increase your self-confidence. You can improve your presentation skills and increase your leadership potential while becoming a better listener. While reaching your professional and personal goals you can build your ability to motivate and persuade others.
